CMS is owned and operated by
the husband and wife team of Lucy and Chanley Hill. We started CMS as a way to provide our close friends entering
into the entertainment industry with the proper copyright protection upon completion of their work. They knew
of the "poor man's copyright" and felt that was all they needed to prevent copyright infringement. Most of them felt
the attorney fees were too high, so we decided to offer our services at the lowest rates possible. We even built
a recording studio in our home so they could compose and record their music for free.
We extended our services to
the self-publishers providing copyright protection and ISBN registration for clients we met at the workshops in our area.
CMS is a small business so we
understand the needs of our clients who are entering into their business ventures. Our hours are flexible and we can
be contacted at anytime for a status update on your copyright submissions.
We also handle copyright registration
for large book publishers offering a discounted rate depending on the volume of production. This outsourcing initiative
can be negotiated with a savings up to 15%.
